Randy Tagawa is CEO for Tagawa Greenhouse and its visionary for the brand’s future.
Randy spent his childhood working with his uncles in the fields and learning about the business from a young age. After high school, Randy started working formally in the family business by growing poinsettias at the Tagawa Gardens location in Centennial, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University, where he graduated with a degree in Horticultural Science.
After college, Randy and his wife moved to California to start a new joint venture and was the General Manager for Ball Tagawa Growers. In 1996, Randy returned to Colorado with his wife and children, where he soon would assume responsibilities as CEO. Seeking the insight from experts and leaders throughout the industry, and building relationships on the values and principles instilled in him, Randy has been able to grow the business and build good teams through his decisive leadership through the last 30 years.
Today, in addition to his role as CEO, Randy continues to manage Ball Tagawa Growers in California, serves as Secretary of the American Floral Endowment, and is a board member of Bauchman’s Floral Home & Garden.
